She was predeceased by: her parents, Koert Kuiper and Jessie Kuiper (Penning); her husband Stanley R. VanderKlok; and her brother Kenneth Kuiper. She is survived by: her children, Mike VanderKlok (Nancy) and Marsha Miller (Lloyd, Jr.); her grandchildren, Mark VanderKlok (Morgan), Alicia Kiewiet (Drew), Amy Hoopes (Tyler), Sam Miller and Koertney Miller; her great grandchildren, Hudson, Hayden VanderKlok, Cooper, Noel Kiewiet, Tyce and Jennings Hoopes; and her siblings, Clarence Kuiper, Dorothy Allen, Jane Newhouse, Betty Vlietstra and Jim Kuiper. She is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial and Cremation Services (3926 S 9th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
