She was predeceased by: her father Dennis Schommer. She is survived by: her mother Patricia Schommer of Port Sanilac; her former husband Steven Sherman; her siblings, Michael (Tarah Schommer), Teresa (Bill James) and Matthew Schommer; her children, Jonathan (Rianne Sherman) and Mary Sherman; her nieces and nephews, Veronica Schommer, Max Schommer, Gemma James, Leo Schommer, Genevieve Schommer, Augustine Schommer, Benedict Schommer and Ambrose Schommer; and her grandson Theo Sherman.
