She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren John Sr. and Novita Claudine Bachschmidt; and her nephew Jason Bachschmidt. She is survived by: her husband Paul Slivka; her daughters, Christine (Benjamin Kogut), Jennifer (Roy Beckner), Heather Slivka and Rebecca (Jeremy Garn); her grandsons, Ian and Liam King; and her siblings, Warren Jr. (Connie), Gary (Natalie), Nancy (Thomas Hood, Sr.), Mark, Patricia and Peggy Bachschmidt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial tributes may be made to the Sanilac Community Symphonic Band or to Project Blessing of Carsonville.
