She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Wagner and Viola Wagner (Geist); her husband Richard J. LaRose; her son Kirk LaRose; her grandson Matthew LaRose; her great grandchild Easton Hauler; and her siblings, Julie Wagner-Schneider and Gary Wagner.

She is survived by: her children, Keith LaRose (Lisa), Karen Smith (Robert), Kelly Luckadoo (Otis), Kriste Finazzo (Charles) and Renee Steagall (Michael). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 17 great great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Pomeroy Funeral Home - Lexington (5635 Main St, Lexington, MI 48450). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Marys Catholic Church (7066 Main St, Port Sanilac, MI 48469).

Memorials in memory of Donna may be made to either the Capuchin Soup Kitchen or Mass Cards to St. Marys Catholic Church.
