He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Caughel and Ila Caughel; and his siblings, Carolyn Yake, Daniel Caughel and Lyle Caughel.

He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Hill; his children, Scott Caughel (Carla) and Lori Caughel; his grandchildren, Allison and Aaron Caughel; his son Mike Laskowski (Teri); his brothers, Gary Caughel (Chris) and Roy Caughel (Kathy); and his son John Walter Caughel (Debbie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
