He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Smith and Walter Smith Sr.; and his son Walter Smith III. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Wesley, Eric and Natasha Smith; his stepdaughter Cindy Walker; and his siblings, Gail Christie, Cindy Esquivel, Edward Smith and Sylvia Kenner. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
