Ruth Ainsworth Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Ainsworth of Port Huron, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 4, 2024 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Burtch and Ruth Burtch; and her brothers, Matthew, Jim and William.

She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob"; her children, Andrea Ainsworth (Liza), Beth Barr (Ron) and Julie Hillis (Mike); her grandchildren, Bobby Maskell (Camille), Nicole Hineline (John), Katelyn Longo (Tommy) and Molly Hillis; her great grandchildren, Audrey, Emma, Rosalie and Ila; and her brothers, Daniel Burtch (Bessie) and Edward Burtch. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at the Order Memorial. A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Ruby Cemetery.

In remembrance of Ruth's life and love, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to the Clyde Historical Society, Ruby Lions, or McLaren Hospice.
