Robert John Thomas Obituary

Robert John Thomas of Algonac, Michigan passed away on February 3, 2023, at the age of 78, in Port Huron, Michigan. He was born August 19, 1944, in Mount Clemens, Michigan.

Robert was a Truck Driver and served time in the United States Army but, he accomplished so many amazing things during his life. He was in a Cattle Drive from Montana to Wyoming. He was a Master gun smith, black smith, and certified Harley Mechanic. Robert gain so many hobbies over time. Those hobbies included but are not limited to fishing, boating, riding his horse Timmy, leather working, wood working, and many more.

Robert is survived by his daughters Dawn (John Leatzau) Fougnie and Tracy Graves, son Donald (Mandy) Witt, grandchildren Whitney Thomas, John Leatzau, Justin Leatzau, Cassandra (Matt Romo) Bosley, Selena (Greg Lamb) Graves, Russell (Erica Goodman) Graves, Karissa Witt, and Danielle Hembree, great grandchildren Dakota Geiser, Emma Romo, Colin Bosley, Reyna Romo, sister Donna Cornell, brother Dennis Thomas, niece Audrey Cornell, great nephew Jayce, and cousin Lucky Miller.
He is preceded in death by his mother Mildred Rose Hubble, step father Rollie Eugene Hubble, and father Robert John Thomas.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 4th 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Christ (1601 Saint Clair River Drive, Algonac, Michigan 48001).
