With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Hawkins of Port Huron, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 27, 2024 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hawkins and Lilian Hawkins; his grandson Kyle Carnahan; his daughter-in-law Melissa Hawkins; and his brothers, Clifford Richardson and George Hawkins.

He is survived by: his children, Laura Hawkins, Cliff Hawkins, Rob Hawkins (Ai) and Amy Richmond (Tom); his grandchildren, Kevin Carnahan, Davon Hawkins, Zachary Hawkins (Alyssa) and Shelby Hawkins; and his great grandchildren, Kennady Carnahan, Kyle Carnahan, Sage Rose Hawkins and Ivy May Hawkins.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Paralyzed Veterans of America.
