He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Matts and Lillian Matts; his wife Linda Matts; and his sisters, Valerie Panczuk and Carmen Matts.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert Matts Jr., Ronald Matts and David Matts; his stepdaughter Robin Tokarski; his grandchildren, Sheree Pingle, Dayle Crawford, Robbie Miller, Ronald Matts Jr., Austin Matts, Cory Matt, Derrick Matts, Corey Martin, Nicholas Groth and Kaitlyn Dulemba; and his siblings, Georgia Clayton (Bill), Bonnie Garcia (Tony), Roberta Bedolla, Janis Gerhold and Merle Matts Jr.. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
