With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merton D Forrest of Port Huron, Michigan, who passed away on February 2, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Merton D farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Merton D is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Forrest and Clair Forrest; and his wife Dorothy. He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Forrest-Huntley (Doug) and Sandra Wentzel (David); his grandsons, Bradley and Benjamin Wentzel; and his sisters, Muriel Childs and Martha Holland.
