He was predeceased by: his daughter Susan Elizabeth Bender; his great grandchild Matthew Paul Schrader; and his parents, Leonard Bender and Helen Bender. He is survived by: his children, Theresa Schrader (William), Howard H. Bender Jr., Michael Bender (Shelly), Deborah Kreuger (late Gregory) and Sharon Kemp (Erik); his grandchildren, David Schrader (Courtney), Melanie Schrader, Elizabeth Brown (Robert), Erika Antolini (Sam), Howard Bender III, Veronica Bender, Michael Bender (Nicole), Steven Bender (Savannah), Reinhold Kreuger (Crystal Kryska), Benjamin Kreuger (Elizabeth), Molly Smith (Austin), Mallory Gmerick (Colton), Casondra Sumpter (Randall) and Madilynn Kemp; and his sister Helen MacDonald. He is also survived by Twenty-six great grandchildren and two great – great grandchildren.
