He is survived by: his wife Pam Heckendorn of Port Huron; his sons, Joe Heckendorn (Jennifer) of Ann Arbor and Scott Heckendorn (Angie) of Jeddo; and his grandchildren, Jake, Jula (Payton), Ciara (Bruce) and Jane. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
