He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Clifford Weiss and Teresa Weiss; his nephew Dakota Weiss; his aunt Patricia Suchin; and his pet Benny Weiss.

He is survived by: his wife Jannette Truscott; his father Gary F. Weiss Sr. (Linda); his brother Paul Weiss (Kandy); his parents-in-law, Charles and Sherry Truscott; his siblings-in-law, Ann Truscott, Bill Truscott (Lori) and Don Truscott (Danielle); and his nieces and nephews, Sage, Kyle, Nicole, Ashlynn, Jacob, Hannity, Colt and Knox. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
