It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene J Haley of Port Huron, Michigan, who passed away on March 8, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Haley and Margaret "Bessie" Haley; his son Daniel Eugene Haley; his brother John "Jack" Haley; and his grandson Daniel Vincent Haley.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty"; his children, Brian (Kim) of Kenockee Township, Carol Watson (Scott) of Avoca, Nancy Kimmel (William) of Metamora, Mary Kershner (John) of Galesburg and Terese Seagle (Ron) of Plainwell; his daughter-in-law Mary Beth Haley of Oak Harbor, OH; his grandchildren, Meghan, Kevin, Kate, Kristin, Kyle, Kaitlyn, Emma, Mikayla, Ryan, Heather, Brett, Kelsey and Haley; his great grandchildren, Aileen, Alice, Owen, Connor, Graham, Hazel, Quinn, Margaret, Dominic, Zoey, Hayden, Greyson and Knox; his brother James Haley (Christine); his sister-in-law Joanne Haley; and his caregiver Laurie Stawecki.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A rosary was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM. A burial was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of Mt Carmel Catholic Church-Emmett (10828 Brandon Rd, Emmett, MI 48022).
Memorials are suggested to Knights of Columbus, Fr. Farrell Council #7918 or Blue Water Hospice Home.
