It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris G Gardner of Port Huron, Michigan, born in Hilton Beach, Ontario, who passed away on December 14, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Garside and Marjorie Garside; her husband Melville T. Gardner; her grandson Evan Gardner; and her brothers, John, Reginald and William Garside.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Hall (Jim), Craig Gardner (Gloria Norton) and Martha Emerson; her grandchildren, Erin Trzemzalski (Matt), Nathan Yuille (Jennifer), Courtney Jacobs (Andy Gaul), Ashley Spitzner (Adam) and Alexander Gardner; her great grandchildren, Charlotte Trzemzalski, Henry Trzemzalski, Rebekah Spitzner and Eden Spitzner; her sister Marjorie Hoover; and her sisters-in-law, Marjorie Garside and Evelyn Lawrence. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
