He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Rush (Anger); his children, Charles E. Rush Jr. and Kimberly Sue Heimbach; his granddaughter Tammy Rush; and his great grandchild River Roche.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Hubbard (Kenneth), Lynne Bradley and Debra Dickens. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
