He was predeceased by: his parents, Carson Starks and Doris Starks. He is survived by: his wife Dayle; his children, Carol Sue Johnson, Donna Lynn Fergus Hess and Roger James Starks; his siblings, Ethelyn Thomas, Sam Starks (Carol) and Joey Starks (Sharon); and his friend Bill Schuhmacher. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews.
