He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Pickering and Doris Pickering; his brother Dennis Pickering (Janet); and his brother-in-law Bill Sloan. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Vought; his children, Terri Fuchshofer (James), Cheryl Ake (Brian), Robert Pickering Jr. (Renee) and Bret Pickering (Sherry); his grandchildren, Kelly Crerar (Jonathon), James Fuchshofer, Joshua Ake, Andrew Ake (Tara), Brianna Helms (Varsal), Ashley Pickering, Guy Pickering, Fletcher Pickering, Jacob Pickering and Corey Hines; his great grandchildren, Claire, Kora, Jayden, Carson, Dylan, Hailey, Cameron, Dessiray and Kaylah; and his sister Colleen Sloan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
