With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lewis D Cowan of Port Huron Township, Michigan, born in Smiths Creek, Michigan, who passed away on March 12, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Frederick Cowan; and his grandchildren, Tyler Ross and Kendra Ross. He is survived by: his children, Jean Olson (Glen), Carolyn Ross (Dennis), Fred Cowan, Gail Nye (Michael) and Roger Cowan (Lisa); his grandchildren, Chris Olson, Chad Olson (Kimberly), Clay Olson (Colette), Carie Altvater (Julian), Tim Ross (Julia), Jimmy Sharrard (Kimberlee), Jenny Layland (Stephen), Victoria Wilson (Joe), David Cowan (Emily), Anna Jansz (Michael), Elisabeth Martin (Luke), Rebecca Cowan and Daniel Cowan; his great grandchildren, Scout, Jersie Wicker-Olson, Reagen, Caden, Violet, Lily, Candiss Olson, Julian Altvater, Lincoln, Greyson, Callan, Gibson Ross, Evelyn Sharrard, Isla, Theodore, Aubrey, Elodie Wilson, Charlotte Cowan and Mikaiah Jansz; and his siblings, Margaret Morden, Bill Cowan and Carol Cheek. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
