It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Juanita Almendarez of Port Huron Township, Michigan, who passed away on August 20, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Diaz and Manuela Diaz; and her siblings, Lupe, Jesse, Angeles Diaz, Ruth Chavez and Esther Ledesma.
She is survived by: her children, Ramon Almendarez (Pam), Leonard Almendarez, Tom Almendarez (Noulsri), Juan Almendarez (Mary), Maria Noe, Lorenzo Almendarez (Kim) and Juanita Neis (Dave); and her siblings, Theresa Gonzales (Joe) and John Diaz (Nancy). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Larry Lonsby Jr., Thomas and Lorenzo Almendarez, Daniel Ledesma, Justen Delong, and David Watson.Memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Water Area Humane Society.
