With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles R Kott of Port Huron Township, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on October 13, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Kott and Charlotte Kott; his wives, Roberta "Bobbie" Kott and Shirley Kott; and his son Charlie Kott.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Barber (Dave), Sandra Morton (Alex) and Brad Ellis; his grandchildren, Rosanna Kott (Donald), Katie Levin (Ryan), Jessica Lange (Niall Kerins), Gabrielle, Alex Morton and Travis Shafer; his great grandchildren, Cherikee, Donald "D. J." Kott and Grayson Levin; his sister Joyce Gambrell; his friends, Marv Ohrling and Joseph Mericka; and his close friend Susan Austin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family is choosing to honor Chuck with donations to charity in lieu of flowers. Donations to Blue Water Hospice, Elks Lodge #343, or any charity are welcome.
