He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Kautz and Leona Kautz (Pawlitz). He is survived by: his children, Ann MacCarrol (Rob) of North Carolina, Barbara Harahus (Michael) of Arizona, Brian Kautz (Karen) of Sterling Heights and Beverly Weir (Tim) of Sterling Heights; his grandchildren, Bridget, Amanda, Marissa, Austin, Tanner, Madison, Devon, Mitchell and Brooklyn; his great grandchildren, Ava and Adalynn; and his siblings, Elwin Kautz (Jo Carol) and Marilyn Pleiness (Herman). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
