She was predeceased by: her parents, Esther Schmaltz (Lange) and Edwin Schmaltz; her daughter Lori Pedrotte; her brothers, Howard Schmaltz and David Schmaltz; and her sister-in-law Gloria Schmaltz.
She is survived by: her husband Rodney Weiss; her children, Deborah Stephenson (Dennis) of Bad Axe, Cindy Booms (Kevin Cook) of Harbor Beach, Brenda Young (Brian) of Elkton, Rodney Weiss (Kelly) of Harbor Beach and Randy Weiss (Mary) of Harbor Beach; her son-in-law Tony Pedrotte of Port Hope; her sister Nancy Osentoski (Ken) of Port Hope; and her sister-in-law Lillian Schmaltz of Flint. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren.
