She is survived by: her husband David Schmaltz of Port Hope; her children, Betty Burghardt (Greg) of Clio and Rick Schmaltz (Jane) of Davison; her grandsons, Justin Schmaltz (Brittany), Brad Schmaltz and Jason Burghardt (Bridget); her great grandchildren, Taylor, Emily and Christopher; her siblings, Sally Scott of Iowa, Bob Perdue (Sharon) of Sterling Heights, Ernie Perdue (Debbie) of Burton, Nancy Reinke of Fenton, Janice Perdue of Port Hope, Janis Pleiness of Port Hope and Bill Perdue (Ellen) of Owendale; and her siblings-in-law, Janet Weiss (Rodney) of Harbor Beach, Nancy Osentoski (Ken) of Port Hope and Howard Schmaltz (Lillian) of Genesee Twp. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
