Wavelyn Ronald Burton Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2020, at the age of 85, Wavelyn Ronald Burton of Port Austin, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Wavelyn and Olivia Burton (Hipfner); his sister Joanne Benedetti; and his niece Rebecca Turke (John). He is survived by: his wife Marie; his pet Bingo; his daughters, Teresa Worpell (David) of Farmington Hills, Melissa Baunoch (Greg) of Port Austin and Renee Burton of Orlando, FL; his grandchildren, Nicole Brewer (Richard), Alexandria Postill (Stephen), Savannah Grosso (David LaDuke), Jonathon Turke, Matthew and Daniel Worpell; his great grandchildren, Lillian, Lukas, Joseph Brewer and Nathaniel Postill; and his sister-in-law Susan Bousson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Following cremation, and due to COVID concerns, a celebration of life is planned in Spring 2021 when we can gather safely.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
