The passing of Sophie Delores Navock of Port Austin, Michigan leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 10, 2025 at the age of 94. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Filipiak and Rose Filipiak (Leavine); and her sisters, Bernice Osentoski, Florence Gusa, Theresa Bambach, Rose Marie Aiuto and Barbara Uller.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Lee Navock of Port Austin and Deborah Elbing (Gerald) of Clarkston; and her sister Gertrude Strozeski of Bad Axe. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lord's Parish/ St. Michael's Catholic Church (8661 Independence Ave, Port Austin, MI 48467). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family requests that memorials be made to St. Michael's Catholic Church in Port Austin.
