We are sad to announce that on September 1, 2020, at the age of 90, Dorothy Gettel Parks of Port Austin, Michigan, born in Pigeon, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Gettel and Dora Gettel; her brothers, Clarence Gettel (Phyllis), Herbert Gettel (Doris) and Loren Gettel (Mary); and her sister-in-law Judy Gettel.
She is survived by: her husband Charles I. Parks of Port Austin; her children, David Parks (Judy) of Troy, Douglas Parks of Sarasota, Florida., Barbara Sugg (Greg) of Troy and Julie Parks-Boyle (Bill) of Birmingham, Michigan.; her grandchildren, Charles Parks (Lyle Parks), Jason Sugg (Katie), Ryan Sugg (Dylan Sugg) and Conor Boyle (Lauren Boyle); her great grandchildren, Hudson, Caroline Sugg and Cora Parks; and her brother Douglas Gettel of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan..
Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 restrictions, a luncheon will be held at the Parks' residence for the immediate family only.
