He is survived by: his wife Deborah Cathey; his children, Mahlon Cathey, Antoine Cathey (Rachel), Richard Williams (Yolanda), Jeremy Williams, Lauren Williams and Lorina Nichols; his grandchildren, Richard Williams, Jr., Kailyn Williams, Mason Williams, Jazzlynn Cathey and Shia Pitts; his siblings, Deirdre "Sandy" Gamble-Robinson and John "Andre" Cathey; and his cousin John Robinson.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Inkster Springhill Missionary Baptist Church (3655 Springhill Ave, Inkster, MI 48141).
