He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Shelton, and Annie Shelton, Sr.; his siblings, Joyce, Deenie, Charmaine, Jackie, Johnnie Jr. and Larry; and his close friends, Allan "Jerry" Shorters and Earl Tellarman.
He is survived by: his fiancé Queenie Hawkins; his children, Tonya Montgomery (Billy), Stevie Shelton, Jr. (Stephanie Warren) and Deandre Shelton (Shelly); his grandchildren, Shania Shelton, Andre Shelton, Deshaun Shelton and Tiana Montgomery; his great grandchildren, Miracle, Stephanie, Dustin and Xzavier; and his siblings, Lavonna "Sue Sue", Evlesha "Lesha", Nellie, Shelia, Sandy, Irene, Anthony "Poo Poo", Ebbie and Keith. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home (268 North Perry St, Pontiac, MI 48342). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
