He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jayne Newman; his children, Steven Newman (Kimberly) of Haslett, MI. and Laura Baldwin (Mark); his grandchildren, Asher, Greyson Newman (Steven) and Sarah Smith (Dakota); his daughters, Emma Baldwin and Katheryn Slayton (Jake); his great grandchildren, Raylee, Jackson (Sarah) and Sadie (Katheryn); and his brother Richard of Seattle, WA..

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Riverside Chapel, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home (5630 Pontiac Lake Rd, Waterford Twp, MI 48327).
