He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack Munson, Jr. and Deloris Munson; his grandparents, Susie, Homer Thompson, Mack Munson, Sr. and Leola Munson; his brother Tony Munson; and his brother-in-law James Puryear.
He is survived by: his fiancée Matilda Holmes; his children, Melvin Eckles (Tiffany), Azriel "Keto" Sellers and LaTisha Sellers; and his siblings, Zinobi Puryear, Vikki Munson, LaJune Munson and Cheryl Harsten (Torrey). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
