With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lavada Wright-Nelson of Pontiac, Michigan, born in Hayti, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by : her siblings, Ella Mayes, Della Wright, Emmra Henderson, Pearlie Whitfield, Alberta Kimble, Ethel Williams, Rosie Lee Newbern and Tommy Wright, Jr..

She is survived by : her nephew James Ford-Wright (Lavada); and her brother Hubert Wright. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cobb's Funeral Home (151 Orchard Lake Rd, Pontiac, MI 48341). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
