He is survived by: his brother Gary Dirker; his daughter Jane (Matt DeRousse); his grandchildren, Kristina, Chris Doyle, Marlayana and Evan West; his great grandchildren, Nicholas, Julia, Jack Doyle and Henry West; his nephew Jeremy Dirker; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Letty and Denver Dirker.

Memorial contributions in honor of Jere may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
