He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Carr and Shirley Burton; and his siblings, Donald Carr and Margaret Daniels. He is survived by: his wife Vickie; his children, George Echason (Billie Jo), Jeffrey Carr Jr. (Jamie), Michael Summers (Angela), Holly Green (Danielle), Christopher Summers (Britney), Shaun Johnson and Jason Johnson; his grandchildren, Belle, Brooklyn, Autumn, Jaxson, Cameryn, Carter, Jacob, Madison, Zoe, Janiah, Jazlyn, Leonard, Jurnee, Christyana and Seth; and his sister Felicia Boose (Ricky).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
