He was predeceased by: his parents, Emrick Boykins and Vinnie Boykins; and his sister Beverly Ann Boykins. He is survived by: his wife Hellica Hawkins-Boykins; his daughter Aniqua Hawkins; his goddaughter Jacqueline Boykins; his siblings, Wilson Boykins (Mary), Juanita Boykins-Moody, Sandra Shorter (Elick) and Jackie Boykins (Mary); and his nephews, Dameon Carroll (Bentrelle) and Marlon Moody. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
