With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Emma Howard (Pontiac, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 18, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Myron Woods; her parents, Johnnie Woods, Jr. and Emma Moore; and her former husband Elmer "Bo" Howard. She is survived by: her children, Gary Mahdi (Renetrice Rhymes), Krystal Fountain (Keith) and Bobbie Baugh; her grandchildren, Gary Mahdi, Jr., Creshawn Mahdi, Larry Woods, Aniyah Arnett and Lil Gary Mahdi; her great grandchildren, Jisiah Mahdi, G'Mari Mahdi, Graisyn Mahdi, Nyomi Mahdi and Ny'Lah Mahdi; her niece Kelima Howard; her cousins, Regina Wicker-Bey, Selena Lenoir and Marcus Clark; the father of her child Craig Alexander; her partner Oliva Cassandra "Sandra" Vance; and also Keyon Harris.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home (268 North Perry St, Pontiac, MI 48342). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
