He is survived by: his daughters, Sharla Smith, Stacey Sledge (Ernest) and Tara Grady; his grandchildren, Stephen Smith (Lumetta), Courtney Smith (India), Dontae Smith, Brandon Smith, Roderick Causey, Kristopher Causey, Brianna Smith and Breah Langlois (Andrew); his aunts, Patricia Sullivan and Annie Perry (James); his cousin David Reed; and his close friends, John Flagler, Vivian Gibson and Jerome Loving. He is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren.
The lying in state was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cobb's Funeral Home (151 Orchard Lake Rd, Pontiac, MI 48341). Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
