It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Rice (Pontiac, Michigan), who passed away on June 27, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his son Kenyon Johnson, Sr.; his parents, Edie Leroy Rice and Mary L. Rice; and his brother Bobby Ross. He is survived by : his daughters, Yolanda S. Calcutt and Charlesa Rice; his grandchildren, Jae Howard, Brian Howard, II, Shania Johnson, Cinyetta Hill, Keyshawn Johnson and Kenyon Johnson, Jr.; his great grandchild Kamaree P. Hillsman; and his siblings, Oliver Dilworth, Finis "Gene" Ross (Lou), Vernell Dilworth, Bradley Breashears and Lynette Parks (James, Jr.).

Visitation was held on Friday, July 5th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home (268 North Perry St, Pontiac, MI 48342). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 6th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Mount Moriah International Church (313 Walton Blvd., Pontiac, MI 48342).
