He is survived by: his children, James Pekrul, Jeremy Hill, Angelina Day, Kadari Day and Kara Napier; his stepson Andre Day; his grandchildren, Amarion Manns-Day, Kadari Day, Jr., Obbie Day-Napier, Mia'Rose Day and Ky'Jay Day; his siblings, Lunzie Lyons, Sr. and Nancy Thomas; and his stepbrothers, Michael, Bill and Richard Calvin. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
