It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Jones (Pontiac, Michigan), who passed away on December 4, 2024, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Arthur Terry, Sr.; her grandparents, Dave, Loretta Parker, Willie and Marie Terry; her nephew Timio Harper; her great-nephew Jaylin Hughes; her parents-in-law, Roosevelt and Rosie Mae Jones; and her siblings-in-law, Jimmy Jones and Diane Jones.
She is survived by: her husband Perry; her children, Taiuana Jones, DeSchanel Jones, Tyree Jones and Elijah Jones; her grandchildren, Aviana Jones, Zaidyn McCoy, Carter Perry, Giovanni Perry, Aaliyah Jones, King Geter and Prince Geter; her mother Corine Terry; her siblings, Melinda Transou (Syvoid, Jr.), Steven Parker (Vernita), Arthur Terry, Jr. (LaTonya), Franny Terry, Roshawnda Harris (Eric) and LaKeysha Harney (Damon); her siblings-in-law, TocQuien Allen (Edward), Annette Jackson, Lynn Jones and Jerry Jones; her godson Jyon Sasnett; and her close friends, Vicki Sasnett, Regina Haynes and Lowanna Tolbert. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home (268 North Perry St, Pontiac, MI 48342). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Messiah Missionary Baptist Church (15 Mark Ave, Pontiac, MI 48341).
