He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Henderson (Willie Mae) and Willie Ratliff, Sr. (Rosie); his siblings, Velma Thompson, Glenda Price, Mary Still, Willie Ratliff and Billy Ray Henderson; and his son-in-law Pastor Timothy Ellis, Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Essie Lee Ratliff; his sons, Anthony Ratliff, Sr. (Sandra) and Wayne Ratliff; his grandchildren, Timothy "TJ" Ellis (Jessica), Essence Kirkwood (Vance), Anthony Ratliff, Jr., Gabriel Ellis and Gabrienne "Gabbi" Ellis; his great grandchildren, Timothy "Taj" Ellis, Judah Ellis, Israel Ellis, Vance Kirkwood, Jr. and Karsyn Kirkwood; his siblings, Edith Brown, Louise Williams, Jerry Ratliff and David Ratliff; his brother-in-law Danny Still; and also Andrea Ellis.
