He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Ashcraft. He is survived by: his children, Janis Zak (late Jim), Thomas Ashcraft (Betty), Eileen Leyland (Robert) and Frank Ashcraft (Debbie); his grandchildren, Christine Gregory (Leo), David Ashcraft (Joleen), Lauren Bouchard, Mike Zak, Andrea Moore (Ryan), Nicole Metzger (David) and Kevin Leyland; and his great grandchildren, Samantha, Leo Gregory, Olivia Bouchard, Zofia Zak, Addy, Jimmy Moore and Ashley Metzger.
