She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Samuel Modica; her parents, Charles Allen and Mary Allen (Rohrbough); her siblings, Mary Fran Whitehurst (David), Garrett Allen (Annette) and Kathie Seavey (Leo); her sister-in-law Rosemary Mistretta (Leonard); her children, Amy Modica and Ryan Modica (Sarah); and her grandchildren, Dean and Macy. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sarah's honor to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson Foundation. This organization held a special place in Sarah's heart, and donations will help support ongoing research and care for those affected by Parkinson's disease.
