He is survived by: his wife Judith Kennedy Sturdy; his children, Jill Halpin (John), Laura McHugh, Patrick, Michael and John Sturdy (Emily); his grandchild Lauren Halpin; his sons, Alex McHugh (Chaya), Tim McHugh (Maddie), Leland McHugh, Sawyer Sturdy Yasui, Ethan Sturdy Yasui, Reagen Sturdy Yasui and Dylan Sturdy Yasui; his sister-in-law Betsy Kennedy; his brother James (Carol Sturdy); and his siblings-in-law, Arlene Kennedy (Lee) and John Kennedy (Kathy).
