She was predeceased by: her husband Robert G. English; her children, John Francis and Maureen McCurren; and her parents, Joseph C. LaFave and Hannah Mae LaFave.

She is survived by: her children, MaryEllen Ritsema (Randy), Joseph (Lynn), Daniel (Donna), Michael (Judy), Thomas and Anne White (Dale); and her brother William LaFave. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen (https://www.cskdetroit.org) or the Sprout Love Foundation at the Ann Arbor Cancer Support Community.
