She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Collins and Mary Collins (Mullins); her husband Malcolm "Hidy" MacDonald; her daughter Anita Cooney (Dan); her grandsons, Liam and Ronan; her sister Bridie McNicholas (Tom); and her nieces, Mary, Margaret, Ann, Patricia and Breda.

Donations in memory of Margaret can be made to the Fr. Solanus Casey Center.
