He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Horvath and Helen Horvath. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Pettit and Brent Horvath; his grandchildren, Drake and Brooke Pettit; and his sister Judith Stepek (Richard).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vermeulen-Sajewski Funeral Home (46401 Ann Arbor Rd, Plymouth, MI 48170). The lying in state was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Risen Christ Lutheran Church (46250 Ann Arbor Rd, Plymouth, MI 48170-3501). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
