He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Small and Janet Small; his wife Sheila Ann Small; his son James E. Small (Jimmy); his brothers, Raymond and Douglas; and his extended family, Patrick Sheehan, Micki Small and Chuck Crain.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Baker (Chris) and Donna Stone (Jim); his grandchildren, Christa, Jessica, Brianna, Blake, Michelle and Ryan; his great grandchild Jack; and his siblings, Susan Crain, Kenneth Small and Wayne Small (Doreen).
