He was predeceased by: his wife Joan H. Kindree; his son John William Kindree; and his sisters, Dorothy, Barbara and Kathleen.

He is survived by: his children, James Kindree, Mark Kindree (Patricia) and Thomas Kindree (late Judy); and his granddaughters, Megan, Natalie, Jessica and Hannah.
